Waldorf Astoria Park City

Park City's luxe mountain resort
Nestled in the middle of the Wasatch Mountains, Waldorf Astoria Park City is a luxurious lodge-like retreat. A roaring stone fireplace, oriental rugs and leather armchairs and ottomans embellish the multi-story lobby, which features windows looking out to the seven-acre grounds.

The resort has an après-ski vibe, with outdoor patios and fire pits perfect for gathering with friends. Guest rooms also feature a working fireplace, while the outdoor balcony with views of the mountains is perfect for guests visiting in warmer months.

Whether you arrive in January or June, this resort offers an array of activities to keep guests occupied. The ski slopes are just a gondola ride away, and winter visitors can also participate in activities like bobsled rides or snowshoeing. Summer guests can enjoy hiking, mountain biking and fishing.
Our Inspector's Highlights
  • A visit to Powder, the hotel’s main restaurant, is a comforting end to an adventurous day. The menu focuses on elevated comfort food inspired by mountain regions around the world, such as guajillo-rubbed buffalo tenderloin, Andean quinoa with sweet potato and black beans, and scallop and rabbit agnolotti.
  • The Frostwood Gondola is located right outside the Waldorf, conveniently able to transport guests up to The Canyon's base gondola — you'll never have to worry about dragging your skis or other belongings too far.
  • Visit the year-round heated outdoor pool when the sun hits it just right. During the summer, the pool has a menu that offers favorites like grilled pizzas and heirloom tomato salads, plus a beer garden and VIP cabanas.
  • Those visiting in cooler temps will appreciate the fire pits and bubbling outdoor whirlpools.
  • The Waldorf's location can't be beat. It's just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, which means you can fly in and hit the slopes well before dinnertime.
