- The luxurious resort’s Five-Star restaurant, Apex, serves delicious meals three times a day, but dinner is the real winner — order Utah trout with green beans and potatoes, fried capers and a rich lemon-brown-butter sauce, or braised short ribs with horseradish whipped potatoes for a farm-to-table taste sensation.
- Should you need some pampering after a day on the slopes, ski right in to Spa Montage Deer Valley, which offers custom treatments to suit your individual needs using botanical and herbal ingredients for a holistic experience.
- The luxury Park City hotel has both an indoor and an outdoor pool. Thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, both pools offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountains for a scenic and relaxing experience.
- The family-friendly ski resort offers a host of amenities to keep kids and teens busy, like the Paintbox club. But our favorite for the little ones (and selfishly, ourselves) is the complimentary s’mores on the Vista Terrace from 4 to 5 p.m. daily. - Daly’s Pub and Rec is the ideal location for a family meal, offering four regulation bowling lanes, billiards, darts, old-school arcade games and four Nintendo Wii stations to make it easy to entertain kids while waiting for food to arrive.
- If you enjoyed your dinner at Apex, then sign up for a cooking class with the Park City restaurant’s executive chef, a wine tasting with one of the sommeliers or an artisanal cheese tasting featuring the chef’s choices.
- The Deer Valley hotel offers a house car service that can take you from the property to Park City’s Historic Main Street for shopping and sightseeing.
- Deer Valley Resort's 100 trails are only for skiers. Snowboarders will have to go to Park City Mountain.
