- With 21 treatment rooms, seven hair styling stations, seven manicure and four pedicure stations, there’s plenty of room to accommodate all of these spa-goers on a given day.
- Upstairs, the relaxation area is stocked with bottled water, fruit-infused water, juice, fresh fruits and the spa’s signature shortbread confetti cookies complemented by coffee and hot tea.
- Trellis offers specialized teen treatments for 14- to 17-year-olds. Whether it’s acne or sore muscles, the Four-Star spa has a treatment for your teen.
- Since a day of pampering usually takes a few hours, the spa knows that you’ll get hungry so they have various snacks and refreshments to keep you satiated before and after your treatments.
Things to Know
- There is nothing more important about a spa experience than your own personal comfort, which is exactly why you will be offered a gender choice when it comes to your therapist at the Houston oasis. We suggest you are flexible in regard to the treatment date if gender is an issue for you.
- If you book an appointment for your teen, the spa will automatically pair a therapist of the same gender unless you request otherwise.
- Trellis is busier on the weekends so keep that in mind. If you are flexible, try to make an evening appointment on the weekend or midday during the week.
- No matter what service you have in mind, you should call Trellis at least two weeks in advance. If you are staying at the hotel, we suggest you go ahead and book your spa treatment when you book your accommodations, which the hotel’s concierge is more than happy to help with.
The Treatments
- The aromatherapy massage starts with choosing an essential oil to be used during your massage. Before the service begins, you’ll be asked to inhale the oil in an effort to relax your body, mind and spirit.
- If your legs are exhausted and achy, the Tired Legs Pedicure is the perfect pedicure for you. It starts with exfoliation, followed by a cool gel, which is massaged into your legs to aid in rejuvenation.
- During the Diamond Magnetic body treatment, a diamond dust powder is applied to your skin and removed with magnets, which helps balance your internal energy. Your therapist will then stretch your body to loosen the muscles and assist you in feeling more flexible and less stressed.
- After being out in the Houston sun, a Vitamin C facial is a great way to restore your skin from any damage. This treatment uses a Natura Bissé serum containing a high potency of Vitamin C that helps to stimulate collagen and nourish your skin.
- We love getting manicures, but the Prestige Manicure goes above and beyond. A manicurist exfoliates your hands before wrapping them in warm clay, followed by a pressure point massage leaving your hands feeling soft and relaxed.
The Facilities
- There are separate male and female locker rooms, each equipped with different wet areas so you don’t have to worry about running into the opposite sex.
- You’ll find showers and restrooms within the locker rooms and then to one side, you’ll find a Jacuzzi, a rainfall shower and a steam room.
- Between both wet areas there’s a co-ed saltwater float pool where you can take a dip, laze around on one of the chaise lounge chairs and snack on some refreshments.
- You don’t want to miss using these areas so be sure to arrive early to your treatments so you can make the most of them.
