BR Prime is the main fine-dining eatery at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, the top casino resort on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast. An old-school, masculine steakhouse in every imaginable way, BR Prime specializes in USDA Prime beef, much of which is dry-aged in-house for 28 days, along with pork, veal, lamb chops and classic seafood staples such as fresh Dover sole and cold shellfish platters.
The Biloxi restaurant’s prominently displayed glass wine towers house about 3,300 bottles in the dining room with another 10,000 in the casino’s central cellar — these two combine to make by far the largest selection in Mississippi. Our Inspector's Highlights
- The bar is a very popular spot for contemporary cocktails—it recently developed its own unique program of making frozen popsicles out of the same ingredients as the mixed drinks, using liquid nitrogen. These pops are placed in the cocktails in lieu of ice cubes, chilling without any dilution as they melt.
- The Biloxi restaurant has a bit of an old-school, Rat Pack-inspired theme — there are vintage photos and custom artwork on the wall and background lounge music evoking the earlier era.
- The steakhouse is also the kind of place where many guests arrive early and begin with a martini, Manhattan or one of the many modern mixology cocktails in the separated, see-and-be-seen bar.
- BR Prime has a formal elegance with silver chargers on the tables, uniformed staff and heavy leather chairs with nail head trim.
- The Biloxi restaurant’s local flair comes in the form of the appetizers, such as New Orleans-style barbecued shrimp, raw oysters and Mississippi lump crab cakes.
