Water cascading down a limestone wall in the reception area and a calming color palette of blue, green and cream set the mood for relaxation and pampering. Lighting in treatment rooms can be customized to individual preferences, thanks to the discreet glow of LEDs in tray ceilings.
Treatments include a variety of massages, facials, wraps, manicures, pedicures and a selection of services tailored specifically to men. Recalibrate for each season with the special equinox and solstice experiences — for example, the vitamin-laden Winter Solstice helps you restore with a sugar scrub, massage and moisturizer, while the Spring Equinox expels toxins leftover from winter with a dry skin brushing, detoxifying algae wrap and massage.
For a true NYC experience outside of the city, take advantage of the sole satellite of Manhattan’s posh Nunzio Saviano Salon located within the spa. Just note that services here must be booked separately.

- Special treatments rotate seasonally and take their cues from the natural abundance of the Hudson Valley — think a cranberry-infused sugar scrub for winter or a citrus and kale facial to prep your skin for spring.
- The White Plains spa offers a variety of add-on services to enhance basic treatments, from the use of hot basalt stones in massages to paraffin dips for hands and feet as part of a manicure, pedicure or facial.
- An internal staircase leads to the rooftop swimming pool and fitness center, enclosed in an atrium that lets in plenty of sun, but remains climate-controlled throughout the year.
- Get a skin analysis, deep brush cleanse, exfoliation, massage, mask and scalp rub in the thorough custom facial.
- Treat your tresses to a Nunzio Saviano haircut. Each service begins with an assessment of your facial structure, hair texture and even lifestyle to come up with a unique cut and color to match.
Things to Know
- Access to the spa facilities (locker and relaxation rooms as well as sauna/steam) costs $50 per day, but is free with the purchase of a treatment. The pool and fitness room are open to all hotel guests at no extra fee.
- The spa is closed on Mondays throughout the year and also on Tuesdays from mid-August to mid-September, so plan your visit accordingly.
- ESPA spa products are used in most facials, while Eminence masks and exfoliates are featured in the Organic Facial. Continue the luxury treatment at home by picking up a bottle or two of these sumptuous skin-care products in the reception area.
- Nunzio Saviano Salon services must be booked separately from the spa.
The Treatments
- Water-oriented services include a Detoxifying Glow body treatment composed of a salt and oil exfoliation followed by a Vichy shower rinse. Opt for a mineral bath prior to your treatment to complete the experience.
- Exfoliation followed by a spray tan will give you that summer glow minus the sun damage to your skin.
- Gents will appreciate having their own designated menu of spa delights. The signature Men’s Massage includes soothing hot-stone therapy with special attention to the face and scalp, while the Activity Recovery treatment concentrates on the back, legs and feet, including exfoliation and massage.
- Should you like a little pep in your step, go for the arnica muscle and joint massage, a full-body treatment that combines mountain arnica, warming ginger and almond oil to promote circulation and invigorate the entire body.
The Facilities
- The Hudson Valley spa includes a couples’ massage room, a Vichy shower and a pair of aesthetician rooms for performing facials. Massage rooms all have en suite showers.
- The rooftop fitness center is equipped with Life Fitness treadmills, exercise bikes and circuit-training equipment.
- Indulge in a little extra relaxation before or after your treatment: both men’s and women’s locker rooms offer steam and sauna facilities.
