Having undergone major renovations recently, The Cove now boasts a newly designed adults-only pool, four buzz-worthy restaurants and slot machines and gaming tables splashed around the property. Being on Paradise Island positions the resort almost in the heart of the city of Nassau. A 10-minute taxi ride takes you over the Paradise Island bridge and into the bustling town center for a day of souvenir shopping at the famous straw market.
The newly reimagined Cove Pool is even more beautiful than before. With the help of jewelry designer Lulu DeKwiatkowski, the luxury hotel swapped out its coral and aqua hues for a beach-inspired electric blue and white combination flanked by 20 refreshed private cabanas, an alfresco gaming pavilion with blackjack tables and a live DJ.
The go-to architect for restaurateurs and hoteliers around the world, award-winning interior designer Jeffrey Beers puts his signature all over this island destination. While sophisticated and enchanting, the layout is easy to maneuver.
Art installation Sacred Space is a peaceful and welcomed addition to this property. Located at the tip of The Cove Peninsula, it features seven sculptural monuments that invite you to pause for prayer, reflection and meditation.
A two-minute shuttle ride takes you to Atlantis’ four other towers, where you can enjoy one of the only casinos on the island, the Aura nightclub, more than a dozen other restaurants and an all-new Bahamian ice cream parlor.

Things to Know

The Bahamas hotel is kid-friendly and caters to even the tiniest travelers. Three- to six-year-olds old can partake in a brand-new Sea Squirts program, where they’ll get to feed baby stingrays, sharks and colorful schools of fish.
The best time to visit is The Cove is between April and June, when the usually fiery temperatures dip to cool and comfortable and occupancy is moderate.
Popular attractions like the 141-acre Aquaventure water park and Dolphin Cay are about a five-minute minute walk from The Cove lobby. Book in some time to swim with the dolphins rescued during Hurricane Katrina.

The Rooms

The Restaurants

World-renowned chef José Andrés has a brand-new restaurant at The Cove. Fish is tapped as the flagship eatery, highlighting The Bahamas’ vast seafood delicacies from crustaceans and conch to lionfish and tuna.
Mosaic gets its name from the colorful tiles used to design the restaurant and does an excellent job adding a fresh, lavish flair to buffet-style dining.
Sea Glass looks more like a high-end nightclub than a lobby bar. Tapas-style dining, cocktails, slot machines and roulette and blackjack tables might cause you to forget to check into your room.
You don’t have to leave the property to enjoy authentic Bahamian cuisine. Sip Sip offers a “Caribterranean” menu featuring a twist on classic local dishes, like the signature lobster quesadilla and grouper Reuben.
