JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai at Tomorrow Square

Downtown's business-savvy beauty
VERIFIED LUXURY
Just the sight of JW Marriott Shanghai at Tomorrow Square sets it apart from other hotels. The Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel is Shanghai’s fifth-tallest building, making it an imposing presence in the city’s skyline. Its tall, peaked tower gives it a futuristic look.

Inside, wraparound windows in the Lobby Lounge and restaurants serve up sweeping views alongside afternoon tea and Western and Asian dishes. Pull up a window-side chair and you’ll be able to take in the full expanse of downtown Shanghai, including leafy People’s Park and jam-packed East Nanjing Road.

You’ll want your camera when you visit the seventh-floor outdoor pool, which is a popular spot for sunbathing and cooling off — from there you can see into Pudong. On weekends the pool is crowded with Shanghai’s expats.
