Though The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes has much to offer, both inside and out, perhaps the most enjoyable spot at this Four-Star hotel is The Lobby Lounge, which is regally decorated in Ritz-Carlton fashion and, during the day, offers a nice view of the property's pool and manmade lake. It's here that you can find expertly crafted cocktails and rub shoulders with the hotel's many business travelers who come to the luxury resort for conferences.

The Orlando property also offers a small network of trails for walking and biking, and it's possible to participate in scheduled fish feedings along the resort's lakefront. But if you'd like to venture further afield with your family, The Ritz-Carlton provides prime access to Disney World and other kid-friendly attractions, with plenty of luxury to come back to when the day is done.

Hang along the shore of the property's namesake lakes, and you will likely be invited to a fish feeding by the resort staff, observe heron catching their lunch or watch kayakers glide by.
The Four-Star hotel's spa features separate, spacious areas for men and women to enjoy a steam, sauna and refreshing treatments, as well as a private pool and a spa cafe with smoothies, sandwiches and even cocktails.
The stately Lobby Lounge features a beautiful view of the property’s outdoor pool and offers an impressive list of classic and innovative cocktails using spirits like calvados and cognac.
The property's fitness center is ultra-spacious, filled with cardio and strength-training machines, as well as space for the several daily classes such as yoga, power cycle, boot camp or ab blaster.
Designed by British Open Champion Greg Norman, the property's 18-hole golf course allows children up to age 17 to play free with each paid adult.

Things to Know

Though the property is most certainly kid-friendly, large conferences are often held here in conjunction with the neighboring Grande Lakes JW Marriott. For vacation-goers, this can be a nice perk: plenty of space at the pool.
Though the Orlando hotel is only three miles from SeaWorld, it's not possible to walk or bike there because the property is situated along a highway.
No matter your travel purpose at the property, build in time to explore it and take advantage of the bocce and volleyball courts, pool with private cabanas and bonfires.

The Rooms

The guest rooms at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes are designed like a modern beach house. The pale yellow and turquoise colors are reminiscent of the sand and sea, with white curtains that have fun, wavy turquoise lines.

From celebrity chef Norman Van Aken comes acclaimed new world cuisine at Norman’s. The menu features a fusion of Latin, Caribbean and Asian recipes cooked with European techniques.
The inspired clubhouse fare and a great selection of draught beer and scotches at Fairways Pub provide the perfect finishing touch to a day on the links. The restaurant even features a to-go menu for golfers.
