SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills, A Luxury Collection Hotel

Beverly Hills’ glamorous hot spot
VERIFIED LUXURY
Open since 2008, SLS Hotel Beverly Hills, A Luxury Collection Hotel remains the place to see and be seen. With its opulent but whimsical Philippe Starck design and dining by James Beard Award-winning chef José Andrés, the hotel’s hip factor continues to reign supreme in Los Angeles.

The Bazaar by José Andrés, the four-part nightlife epicenter, offers retail therapy in the Moss gift shop, molecular gastronomic dining at the only restaurant from the celebrity chef on the West Coast, liquid nitrogen cocktails at Bar Centro and tea and sweet treats at the Patisserie.

With all-day Tres restaurant, the exclusive Somni dining experience, a 5,000-square foot spa, a rooftop lounge and pool, and a $22 million room makeover in 2018, the chic SLS (which stands for Style Luxury Service) is a world unto itself with an abundance of stimulation — both visually and physically.

Things to Know
  • In less than a five- to 10-minute drive, you can stroll on glamorous Rodeo Drive, gritty Hollywood Boulevard or groovy Third Street or Melrose Avenue with its unique boutiques and restaurants.
  • The monkey serves as SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills' spirit animal. Representing playfulness and evolution, the cute primate can be found in various forms around the property.
  • Celebrate every day by the pool with a toasting ritual comprised of guests’ choice between the Saint (fresh-squeezed Wellness Shot) or the Sinner (bartender’s recipe of the day).
  • Every Friday you can enjoy a complimentary cocktail tasting at The Bazaar’s Bar Centro. Sips from the incredible mixology program range from a centuries-old recipe by Ben Franklin to more modern techniques using liquid nitrogen.
The Rooms
  • A 2018 room renovation introduced a brighter aesthetic to the 236 guestrooms and 61 suites. Now units are filled with natural light, plush velvets, sleek leathers and Carrera marble. Charging ports built into bed stands, 55-inch TVs and floating beds with pillow-top mattresses assure that modern travel conveniences aren’t forgotten either.
  • Of the 60-plus suites, the 1,900-square-foot Presidential Suite reigns supreme. This unique space is highlighted by a large master bedroom, a dining room with a hand-carved oak table for 10 and a marble-topped kitchen. The free-standing tub, a crystal chandelier, wine cooler and unforgettable Beverly Hills views only add to the retreat’s resplendent aura.
  • When you get off the elevator for your room, you'll notice colorful pictures of celebrities such as Lenny Kravitz and Mary J. Blige. These self-made creatives symbolize the vibrant spirit of SLS.
    The Restaurants
    • Chef Andrés’ food is like a circus for the taste buds; opportunities to explore the chef’s ingenuity are boundless as the menu changes seasonally.
    • For a power lunch (request table 31) or post-shopping recharge, Tres by José Andrés serves California-meets-Spanish cuisine with signature dishes like the Spanish prawns or rotisserie Jidori chicken.
    • On the weekends, the restaurant’s decadent brunch features an elaborate buffet of everything from seafood to sweet rolls.
    • Afternoon tea here, with both traditional and modern elements served daily in the cozy, fireplace-lit nooks, is divine as well. And there are always more of chef Andrés’ creations to sample around the clock with the 24-hour room service.
    • Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Somni is a 10-seat chef’s counter serving an ever-evolving 20-course tasting menu by chef Aitor Zabala.
