Hôtel St. Germain

A quaint Dallas mansion
VERIFIED LUXURY
Situated in a converted 1906 Victorian mansion in the Uptown neighborhood of Dallas, Texas is the intimate and romantic Hôtel St. Germain. The seasonal Forbes Travel Guide Recommended hotel (open early October through May) offers seven lavishly appointed suites, each one uniquely decorated and filled with French antique furnishings. Highlights include signature touches such as the 17th century Aubusson tapestry, Baccarat chandelier in the main dining room, and the quaint vintage key displays at the reception desk.

Another stellar aspect of the hotel is its formal dining restaurant, which serves a sumptuous seven-course prix-fixe meal of elegant French-inspired cuisine in an intimate dining room setting. While there, be sure to enjoy the extensive wine and champagne selection from the restaurant’s cellar.

Although the hotel's small size might not be for everyone, its charm is in the fact that it’s a distinctive getaway far removed from the impersonal nature of corporate chain hotels.
